Das wird ein Fest: Mit vielen tollen Kolleg:innen aus dem Songs&Whispers-Zusammenhang spielen wir an beiden Tagen auf dem Fest der Bremer City. Daisy Chapman, Rosy Daze, Robert Carl Blank, Olly Wills (The Epstein) und Axel Kruse – alle mit einzelnen Sets, dazu mischen wir hier und da die Musiker:innen. Wir spielen auch ein eigenes Set, ist ja klar.

Wie viele schöne Konzerte wir schon im Logo gesehen haben! Und ein paar eigene Shows mit tollen Kolleg:innen waren auch schon dabei. Jetzt spielen wir zum ersten Mal als SOMEDAY JACOB im Hamburger Kultklub Logo. Und zwar gemeinsam mit der KölnerTom-Petty-Cover-Band THE PRETTY HEARTBREAKERS. Da freuen wir uns auf viele schöne Lieder vom Großen Tom. Und wir freuen uns auf euch!

No sleep til Hamburg: Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit sind wir endlich mal wieder an der Elbe zu Gast. Genau gesagt in Harburg – nämlich am Samstag, den 24. Mai um 20 Uhr in der Fischhalle Harburg. Das ist ein sehr schöner Ort, an dem man vortrefflich Musik machen und anhören kann. Wir würden uns freuen, euch dort zu sehen.

Dream with us: For our new album trailer our good friend Wladi Schwabauer a round design the size of a record, put it on a turntable at the speed of 33 1/3 rpm and filmed it at 30 Frames per second. The technique ist called Phenakistoscope and was developed in the 1830s. It's understood to be one of the earliest forms of film making.

One of the nicest things that happened around the release of "Oxygen Will Flow" is the online-show we were able to play for Radio Bremen Zwei. New songs, old tricks and and empty club that still felt very much like home for us. You can still watch the concert here:

Part of our coming record was recorded at Studio Nord, a somewhat legendary recording studio and fabulous place in Bremen. They are currently hosting a regular online show called the M.I.O.L Club. Watch our short duo show here.

We’re happy to announce the release of our new album, »OXYGEN WILL FLOW«, out on May 29th 2020. We’ve been working frantically to get the vibe right and represent the new songs in the best way possible. For us, the process of making a record will always be about music and some sort of inner journey, coming to terms with yourself and hopefully transcending the experience into something good.
